LSU WR Kayshon Boutte struggling today. 29" vertical 108" broad 4.50 40 yard dash
Yikes. That’s awful

4.50 is ok, but 4.67 is awful. His technique must be off with that difference in time.

I mean Boutte was running nationally ranked 400m times & on 4x200 nationally ranked squads & competing against Sean Burrell (lsu T&F) in high school.

Burrell has shaved seconds off of his 400 time, is the ncaa 400m hurdle champ, 7th best 400m indoor in school history, & & Boutte is over here running 4.67’s. It’s sad

Boutte’s vertical and broad jump is more concerning

Boutte obviously lost it both mentally and physically. If he doesn't have the drive to get better by LSU pro day then he is definitely going late rounds.

Fournette had poor explosive movements measures but came back & ran a great weight-adjusted time.

But not sure you can be bad at both

That vertical and 40-yard dash are not about drive. It's about physical limitations that didn't exist earlier in his career before his major injuries. Medical procedures and treatment has gotten so much better that we forget sometimes injuries do affect players.

well if that is indeed the case and then throw in the shenanigans in Atlanta for the SEC championship then he may not get drafted at all.

That injury really fricked him up. It was pretty clear last year

Yea it was pretty clear. He was lumbering at times but still getting open.

Addison is an amazing route runner, but 4.55 at 170 lbs isn’t going to do it

Zay Flowers ensured that he will not be available at 29 to New Orleans. Good for him.

The word around the combine was the Bears’ asking price for the No. 1 pick is this year’s first-and-second-round picks in addition to two future first-round picks.

That seems a bit much, but if they can do that and then flip down a couple more spots it would be one of the greatest draft hauls of all time
