A collection of 55 NFL coaches and executives believes Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains at the top of the top tier of NFL quarterbacks.

Mike Sando, formerly of ESPN and now of The Athletic, has compiled rankings and opinions of coaches and decision-makers from around the NFL each year for the last six years to create a “Quarterback Tiers” system. Every year, Rodgers has at least tied for the top spot of Tier 1, including this year.

Sando’s “Quarterback Tiers” for the 2019 season has Rodgers topping Tier 1, which includes Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson.

No quarterback received more votes for the top tier than Rodgers’ 53. In fact, only two of the 55 coaches and executives voted for Rodgers to be in the second tier.

That list is shite IMO

Wilson probably does more for his team than all of them and ranked that low, just a bad list honestly

So he needs to score every time that he has the football?

Because a QB isn't on the field for half of a football game.

Just because he does more, that doesn't mean he's a better QB.

In terms of individual skills (passing, running, awareness, etc.), what would you consider Wilson to be the best in the league at?

I'd like to see what he could do with a supporting cast like Ben's had the last few years. It would be scary trying to stop Wilson if he had help

Rodgers is currently suffering from the same fate as Peyton when he was in Indy. He’s consistently carrying an average roster to the playoffs and his front office takes it for granted and doesn’t make the necessary moves around him.

You're helping make my point. Rodgers has been surrounded by teams that often haven't been very talented besides him. The 2016 Packers roster was not good but he got them to the NFCCG.

Other than the weird 2011 Giants game, the teams that have beaten the Packers in the playoffs have been better than the Packers.

Yea, and give Rodgers prime Antonio Brown, prime Leveon Bell, the Steelers O-Line, and the Steelers defense the last 5 yrs and there’s a very good chance he has 1-2 rings. Put Rodgers on any of those Pats teams and he has the same number of rings as Brady.

So the Pro Bowl WRs Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams don't count in this scenario?

He needs to score a lot more often than Brady....

Still not as often as drew is forced to score

Average scoring defense of the 3 QBs

Brady-7th

Rodgers-15th

Brees-20th
