Bring back quality Thursday night college games. Those old big East games with some ACC and PAC 10 mixed in were solid. LSU even played state to open 2007 on Thursday night for ESPN. We do not need Thursday NFL.

Thursday games should be reserved for week 1 and Thanksgiving

Other than that they need to scrap the rest of them

horseshite! I hate Thursday NFL games. Crap product. Injuries galore. Fans can’t make the games because it’s on a work night. Crap product.

Sun Belt needs to take over the Thursday spot.

I wish major college football would take back Thursday night

Don’t ever let the NFL front office lie to you and say they are concerned about player safety. The only way a Thursday night game would ever be a good product is by having both teams have a bye the weekend ahead of their Thursday game.

This, and I'm a fan. I watch the season opener and maybe 5 minutes of the other Thursday night games.

That's ridiculous. 34 people like TNF. The owners, Goddell, and Jeff Bezos. The players hate it (playing 2 NFL games in 5 days is probably not very fun), the fans hate it, even Al Michaels hates it.

NFL should get rid of Thursday night football and let college football take it back over with some actual good games.

Watching a quality CFB game on Thursday night >>> some shite toilet bowl NFL game.

I haven't done the math or thought this through too much, but couldn't they have TNF only for teams who had a bye the previous week and start it then?

You have your bye week, then instead of 2 full weeks off you have 10/11 days off. If you can be on TNF twice then you can't do that, but figured you could maybe make it so most teams come off a bye and then the injury problem doesn't exist as much

Edit: I know it isn't perfect but maybe you have the same byes now and do a Thursday night double header or thursday and friday night games?

There is not a demand for TNF. The matchups suck. Without Flex scheduling its useless. Just get rid of them.

Thursday’s should be a no no for nfl - that’s shitty college football night with sandstorm tunes and turnover gimmick necklaces
