Winston and Mariota signing 2 year deals in FA to be the starters on new teams on the same day. Kind of wild when you think about them both going 1-2 in 2015 and how they were both the first QBs in the rookie wage scale era to get the 5th year option picked up but not resign after

Feel like the 49ers are either really messing up this entire Jimmy G thing or they quietly don’t mind the scenario where they run it back with Jimmy because they don’t think Lance is ready yet
According to them they have an offer on the table for 2 2nd rounders….which feels like something you say when you don’t actually have that offer available to you at this point. Maybe a team like the browns offered them that but now they aren’t an option
Doesn’t really make a ton of sense to keep holding out as more teams decide on alternative vet QBs to get. I guess they are banking on one team getting really desperate on draft day.

Honestly fournette is having a nice career and as long as he has an elite qb it will continue. One AFC championship on a shitty Jags franchise and a Super Bowl ring with the Bucs. He’s got a chance for more in Tampa also.

I mean I guess cause he last 5 season but has never reached double figures in touchdowns rushing, only 2 seasons of more than 1k yards, only 2 seasons of averaging more than 4 ypc.... feel if he was a 5th round or later pick sure but as a 1st round pick it has been underwhelming

Yeah but 43m guaranteed he will never see the full 87m value but he is good to make 60-70m from it for sure
