The Saints were in the same division as the 49ers in the Montana and Rice era. The Saints had some really good teams that couldn't go far enough because that team was always in front of them. There are plenty of reasons besides this year for Saints fans to hate the 49ers.

49ers offense has only 4 noteable plays this game, 2 to the RB's and 2 to Davis. The Giants defense has shut out everything else.
If the Giants O-line can give Eli some time and space he can continue completing those WR slants over the middle like he did all first half. 49ers defense seems incapable of defending the slant for some reason.
