NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - Arch Manning may only be a freshman, and hasn’t played a snap in a regular season game yet, but he’s already turning heads on the prep football scene.
The latest example, Manning connected with Jarmone Sutherland on four TD passes in a scrimmage against Hannan. Manning was 21-of-25 passing in the contest. Cooper’s son also showed off his throwing prowess in the Greenies’ spring game against Shaw. In his first meaningful work, Arch hooked up with receivers to the tune of three touchdown passes.Archie Manning’s grandson won a middle school title in the seventh grade while under center. Plus, his Newman squad won the 7-on-7 Division II title at LSU this summer. Video in Link... damn I’m guess 14 yrs old this kid is gonna be the next great Manning

Depends who the QB coach is. Eli and Peyton were all about David Cutcliffe and it turned out really well for them.

Probably won't, but he DEFINITELY won't if LSU fans keep saying "frick THE MANNINGS"

Kid is apparently a big LSU fan, despite his dad Cooper hating the Tigers.

ETA:

And Arch and Cooper apparently love Joe Brady, who has already started recruiting him.

Scrimmage

Likely Newman #1 O vs. Hannan #1 D (10-12 plays), then switch it, then the 2’s, probably another phase of 1’s vs. 1’s, possibly some goal line work somewhere in there.

What? Once they left high school I barely heard a peep about either of them.

Yea. Watch the Book of Manning SEC storied episode from a few years ago. Archie’s grandkids were all decked out in LSU gear but I’m sure some of that has to be because Newman grad OBJ was still playing for LSU.

That’s a thing?

It’s still impressive. Our freshman QB couldn’t go 21-25 with just receivers in practice. It’s amazing how advanced these kids are.

Arch & Jarmone also play lacrosse for Newman. They're actually both better at lacrosse than football tbh.
