I don't see why not if we get a long term deal signed with the Saints. No way they would agree on having a SB in NOLA if its a chance an nfl franchise wont be in town.

Can you even have a SB in a non-NFL city?

why would they?

But NOLA is way overdue for a Super Bowl. It should be here every 2 or 3 years as the weather etc sucks everywhere else.

The Super Bowl should be on a permanent rotation of like 3-4 cities. New Orleans, Miami, San Diego, and maybe Phoenix

it would be great if we would be playing in a home nfc championship game two weeks before, win, and then be attending said superbowl.

You mean you don't like seeing the SB played in Detroit

no shite .. NOLA fell way out of the rotation since the 2001 season .. and damn near lost that one if the auto makers don't move for their convention for $$$ from the NFL .. katrina knocked them for a loop ..

and there really is a better chance of rain that time or year in tampa on the gulf side than miami normally ? right ? although it did rain on the indy-chicago superbowl in miami ..

it's slight, but I think Tampa has a higher probability climatologically. Not sure on that, but either way it's not significant enough to make a case over.

meh, the weather really isn't that bad here during february. the rain thing is one of the biggest myths i've ever heard. it might lightly drizzle, but it almost never actually rains here

Yeah but it's not comparable to Miami, San Diego, or New Orleans
