Definitely take the grand. It's a no-brainer.

[quotei mean, can jacksonvile really beat indy on the road?
[/quote]

Can you really say with 100% confidence, without a doubt in your mind, that Indy wins that game?

Take the guaranteed money. Or, make a counteroffer that doesn't include the other guy coming away with so much.

This

If you don't do this you are a moron. Unless you really really have no use for the money at all.

I put up 100 bucks

I made the mistake one year of not splitting my fantasy league pot with the other finalist because I had the better team or I thought I did until I got killed in the Super Bowl.

If you don't split it, you need to hedge your bet and put $100 or $200 on Jacksonville on the money line to win $600-$1200.

Brilliant.

But take the $1000, guarantee you are up $900 and then you still have $2700 up for grabs. This is easy.

I feel like the proposal is reasonable. I also feel like your teams aren't much better than his to be honest.

Take the money play for the rest. GREED kills. And its Christmas time. If you have gambled long enough, you will find out there is no sure thing. If you don't take the money, I hope you lose.

All we need is ONE pin Rodney!

Take the money. Not like you're splitting the whole pot. Still playing for a real big chunk of change after the split.

I would try and prolong the decision 1 more week

Take Indy @ home vs Jac. Guaranteed win

He could go KC @ oak on Thursday night. Seemingly his best matchup on paper. That's a trap game for KC and won oak can win

If Yall both win, then ask to split. But I think Indy is as much of a lock as you can get. It would be dumb to split now for you

his opponents best match up on paper is San Fran at home vs the sucky Redskins

If you don't split with the guy he takes SF or KC this week and you take INDY

who do you have next week that is even a half decent match up?

He has Cinci over Tampa Bay

If you were playing long term you would take San Fran or Philly this week to save INDY for next week as they are the best pick next week

I would do it. I mean it guarantees you each get some cash and he might REALLY need it. If you really think you have the better odds though you may want to propose something like you get $1500, he gets $1000, and you play for the rest. If he is hard up for $ he will probably take it.

I'd do the 1k split and play for the remaining 2760

I don't know how this is even a question. No doubt in my mind I am taking 1K and then playing for the rest

Especially if this is someone you know.

Would tell him you will do $500 this week because you still have Indy vs. Jax, but you would do $1500 next week if he wants to wait a week. Give him options so you don't come off like a dick, plus survivor is unpredictable. I could see Jax winning.
