meaningless for who?

Are you saying Pelini failed to get his team ready?

Athletically, they appear average.

This makes Pelini look like even greater of a coach if he's able to win those average athletes.

They've regressed because T-Magic has been fricked up for the second half of the year.

Kind of hard not to regress when you basically lose your starting QB

It will be interesting to see how he responds to the move to the Big 10. In recent seasons, Nebraska's style of play fits perfectly with the Big 10. However, Martinez MUST improve over the offseason and become more of a threat in the passing game to match a Big 10 that I see shifting to having more teams with vertical threats if the bowl season has shown me anything.

What was Nebraska's most impressive win? Oklahoma St. or Mizzou?

17-7 in Big 12 play, two division titles...average?

By far the OSU game

They were not sop pale when we played them

Martinez got hurt in the Mizzou game and they really only had a few big plays

And Nebraska still is pumped about having Pelini, that won't change over a bowl loss. Granted, it's terribly embarassing the way we lost, but we're not going to jump ship on him because of it.

Shawn Watson is gone, no doubt about it. Most Nebraska fans hate him the same or if not more than LSU fans hate Crowton.

Of course, it wasn't all Watson tonight. All three phases of the game were undisciplined. O-line couldn't block. Defense couldn't stop that running game.

Bo won't let this team sit around and cry about this though. He'll have the team focused on the Big 10. And hopefully we have just a tad better offense than we've had the past couple years.

And btw, congratulations to Washington. Said it before the game and I'll say it after, Sarkisian is a hell of a coach. Good luck to him and his program. Big win for them.
