Gunner is not coming back dude, he'd be third team behind Hendrix and Rees.

How does that work for scholarship athletes reapplying?
Obviously for "regular" students, the application cycle is closed for ND's 2013-2014 year.
Agree with Joker, sounds like wishful thinking. ND is one of the few D-1 schools that wouldn't make a mockery of the situation like that.

Right, youre the guy who didnt even know ND had more than one scholarship QB but you have insider information about this situation? i was just lmao. Pls go.
For res life violation at ND, after the kid does "his time" he is allowed back on; players have returned in the past.
with that said, he most likely will have to sit out for a year.

Woah nelly dont let the butthurt show too much. All I said was "I doubt it." which I do. If having an opinion equates insider information then I chose the wrong major.

Don't know the exact timetable, but I'd imagine he would be allowed back to the school and program if he reapplies, yes (similar to McAlarney). This is, of course, if he wants to; he might just choose to transfer. And I also don't think he'd be able to be back for this season (I'd think it'd be a return in either spring 2014 or fall 2014), but we're all obviously unsure of the exact violation and situation right now.

Just look at this thread. A QB that everyone said sucks six months ago getting kicked out is now causing those same people to act like giddy schoolgirls and is going to lead to the downfall of Notre Dame. Comes with the territory of the Irish, as you obviously know.
ETA: It's not just ND, of course. Would be also the same for Bama, OSU, USC... any national program.
