OU is loving life right now. They’re in winners bracket and still haven’t used their two best players.

the term "walk off" is meant to describe the slow walk off of the field by the defensive team, esp. the pitcher, after giving up the winning run

Wow! Seahawks just came so close to winning on the first pitch after the delay.

Soon as he walked the 2nd guy to bring winning run up you had to go get him. Don’t mind letting Parrish start the 9th.

the happiest team to hear about the FSU 2&Q...
their ACC counterparts... Clemson... who now knows that if they can win their regional they will now host the super regional

You don't throw a guy out there on a 2 1/2 hour rain delay after throwing 8 innings. It's not even debatable. He deserved to have his career end that way.

If he asks to go out and not tight or sore yes you do. But soon as he walked the 2nd guy you go get him. He had gotten 2 outs

Yeah you do in this kind of tournament. If he gets a 3rd out we’re not even questioning it as they would had their 2nd guy and a not used pen for tomorrow. It’s because of the HR people are piling on.

I understand in this type tournament wanting to save arms (esp. when coming out of the loser's bracket)
but you have to trust your closer at some point

Yes we are. It's asinine whether it worked out or not. 120+ pitches after a 150 minute rain delay. Sorry that's just stupid, no other opinion is even worth entertaining.
