This thread is gonna go NOWHERE.

So I’m going to point out that you did not list the best NFL Alabama guys.

You didn’t even list Mac.

A good question. Syracuse has the same number of NFL Hall of Famers as Alabama. A small private Northeastern college doesn't have the same commitment, especially financial commitment, that large public schools do.

A lot like Pitt, their recruiting base dwindled away as the Midwest continued to lose population after the steel mills went under. Also, the Carrier Dome is a dump. For being sponsored by Carrier, it amazes me that they didn't even get air conditioning in there until 2 years ago.

I forget how much legendary talent went through Syracuse and Pitt. College football would be a better product if those 2 programs got back on top.

The Carrier Dome renovation is awesome. I would never call the place a dump. It used to be no frills, sure, but not quite a dump. Pack 30,000+ people in there for a basketball game and there's no place like it in college sports. 45,000 for football is equally nuts.
