It's not definite.

UVA is stacked. They have this freshmen, Mitchell Frank, who will give Steve Johnson a run for his money in the singles competition. He plays #3 for them.

If UVA couldn't beat USC last year then they cant beat USC this year
escpically with shabazz being gone

Well, Frank isn't a bad replacement for Shabazz. The key for UVa is getting that doubles point v. USC.

Also, I haven't looked at draw since it first came out, but I think Kentucky is in UVa's quarter. Wouldn't be surprised to see an upset there.

Anyone like LSU's chances to come out of the Duke regional?

I could see UK upsetting UVA
I like LSU's chances they have top 10 talent they jus tend to choke some matches away

LSU made it threw the first round and plays Duke this afternoon. Think LSU has a shot at an upset here.

USC v. aTm has the potential to be a good match today...although I'm sure USC will probably end up coasting 4-1 when its all said and done.

USC v. UCLA and Pepperdine v. UVa

Tournament is being dominated by the West Coast teams. At this point, think I'm going to pull for UVa to finally get over the hump and win one.

UVA will bagel Pepperdine.
USC will beat UCLA 4-2.

USC will beat UVA 4-3.

I hope I'm wrong about the last one.

I think UVA can win, but I don't think they can win if they play Mitchell Frank at 3. Mitchell Frank is the only guy in the country that can beat Steve Johnson. And so I think they should play him at #1. And then play Jenkins at #2 (definite win). And then play Domijan at #3 (toss-up).

Or maybe the idea is that Frank can beat Nguyen in about an hour (he can...he's destroyed him twice this year) and that Jenkins can stay on the court much longer with Johnson. But I still think you roll the dice and put Frank against Johnson. I think Frank is the best player in college.

Looks like its USC and UVa in a rematch. UVa has to get the doubles point, or else they will be down 2-0 with Steve Johnson being a virtual lock to win at #1 singles.

Singles play started today.

Ole Miss went 3-0 in singles. Women have one on court. Men also have 2 doubles teams that start tomorrow.

USC did it back in the day and then Stanford did as well in the late 90s when they had the Bryan Brothers

Might as well just give Johnson his singles trophy right now

USC Men's Water Polo team won their 4th straight this year as well. Not that anyone east of California really cares or plays WP. Still, pretty cool.

Incorrect, It was 6-3, 5-5 and skupski might have broke his ankle so he had to retire
