I don't debate they are, I just don't think they'll add what the SEC thinks they will add. They will fit in with other SEC fan bases and schools like oil and water. You will get the same "we are above and better than you" that you get with Texas, except it will be even worse. You will have basketball schools that don't really emphasize football that much. And you will have a wine and cheese crowd for football games that again doesn't really fit in the SEC.
And you'll get two schools that would be like Missouri and would absolutely bolt to the Big Ten in a second if given the chance. NC State and Virginia Tech aren't bolting for the Big Ten.
NC State has a bigger fanbase in football than UNC. Again I don't think most SEC fans realize how much UNC fans DON'T care about football. And Virginia Tech has a bigger fanbase in football than UVA.
The only positive would be for Kentucky who would have some fellow schools that put basketball first, so they would probably like that.
I looked it up the NC State's last ACC Title in football was 1979. For a school with that type of fanbase and support, that's pathetic.
UNC's last ACC Title in football was 1980. It truly is amazing how bad the State of North Carolina largely is in football.

And if that happens, get ready for the SEC to embarrass itself when UNC quickly picks the Big Ten.

yeah their offfensive coordinator is awful. Youll see the same story for Nebraska.

No, if you really wanted to see the LSU offense post-Daniels, TCU was your game in Dublin
The TCU OC should be arrested for fraud.
It is mind numbing how these coordinators can call an entire game with the QB running read options and carrying out fakes, without EVER carrying the ball.
If the QB had kept the ball just once in that game, TCU likely would have won. They failed on FOUR 4th downs, 3 of them from 2 yards and less in the Red Zone, and the QB did not have ONE carry.

That one when he could have gotten a first down and maybe more if he'd just put his head down and hauled arse but instead threw a bad pass into the endzone was brutal.
