What if Vandy now has positive players because they played against 4 NCS players who were positive? Then what?

That’s not how contract tracing works. Vandy’s team was vaccinated. Therefore, they won’t need to be won’t be contact traced.

Then why did they test NC State players who were vaccinated?

Because they were symptomatic.

So were a bunch of Nc State players, 4 of whom tested positive

Vaccinated, NCAA requires them to be tested, 4 come back positive

Incorrect. The 4 vaccinated NC State players - that played Friday - were not symptomatic.

What if they were false positives?

The whole thing is a joke.

And I what does “Jarrett is no longer with the team” mean? Did he just quit that quick?

One of our most basic freedoms is the freedom of an organization such as the NCAA to set its own rules, especially when those rules are designed to protect the health of its participants.

The ncaa has a bunch of rules but it treats every university and situation completely different.

Justin fields gets supposedly called a racial slur - he's allowed to transfer immediately with eleigbikity to Osu.

A Virginia tech starter who lost his mom wanted to move closer to home and transfer - ncaa said no you have to sit out.

It's a bull shite organization and it's not an objective organization it operates off subjectivity.

Vanderbilt should've been tested as well. The fact they weren't is a disgrace.

They weren’t designed to protect anyone. No college athlete has had covid and died or been negatively affected. These rules are designed to pander and give the false sense of safety. That’s it.

I said it in another thread, but Think about this…

These same players that had to sit out Friday and have to forfeit today’s game can purchase tickets and sit in the stands later today and for the championship series.

What sense does that make!!?

Delay a whole post season for one team? You really don’t get the game then and the level they are at. MLB draft is coming (money for players). Other kids are committed to summer league teams where even more scouts will be. This may be huge in your life but theirs changes even more when this tournament is over. Including NC State players.

It’s basic covid guidance. Gen pop isn’t really aware of what contract tracing involves (or anything else covid related for that matter). They just assume what they think is contact tracing without doing any research.

Scroll down to Fully vaccinated people with no COVID- like symptoms….

These are the guidelines the NCAA uses.

Plus they said last night vaccinated players could still play. Players had a choice long ago to prevent this, they decided to gamble and now have loss because of it.
