Cuban called off the dogs. They probably already have a trade partner for the pick. They gotta trade it the clock is ticking to win now.

This has the makings of one of the most devastating and embarrassing losses in a while

Thunder Up!! Don't think we will make the playoffs but to make it this far with this team is still awesome.

What happened there?

Kyrie just came out and said they’re pumped and taking a playoff spot after last game.

Did someone lose that eliminated them?

What does this even mean?

They were in a perfectly good position to make the play in, weren’t they?

Trade for what?

What have I missed?

The Mavs sent a top 10 protected pick to the Knicks in the 2019 Porzingis trade. If it's in the top 10, it reverts back to the Mavs.

The Mavs are currently 10th and are shamelessly tanking to try to keep that pick. They could still lose it because the lottery is a lottery and 14 teams participate but they will have a 3.6% chance at Wembanyama if they finish 10th.

My oh my how things have changed since the standing screenshot in the OP.

First time I’ve been embarrassed to be a Mavs fan. And I think this year went a long way to hurting the odds of Luka staying in town long term. He’s not built like Dirk for better or worse.

Dirk had a much better team around him for 75% of his career. Do you think Cuban was worried about draft picks while Dirk was in his prime?
