NBA Thread 2/22: Dog days are over edition

The final stretch of the regular season begins tonight. This is where we start seeing some seeding battles and some burning questions will possibly be answered like:
Is Houston for real or are they building up for an anti-climatic playoff run as per usual.
How far will Kyrie be able to take the Celtics? They seem to have fizzled out
Will the Warriors continue to play non-chalantly since they are presumed to repeat as champions
Wtf will happen with Kawhi?
Tonight’s match-ups are a bore but go ahead and tune-in for the Cavs vs Wizards and Warriors vs Clippers on TNT.
Lastly, because the board loves LeGOAT so much I leave you with this

Rioting in the streets of SA if he leaves.
So, basically Tuesday during Fiesta

Never know just how much NBA I watch until there’s 3 straight days without it. So glad we’re back in business tonight

Warriors vs Clippers on TNT.
Game for the Pels to pay attention to. Should be a warriors w and small breathing room with the Heat coming to town Friday.
Pels have the second most games left to play in the league, which is a good and bad thing obviously.

Ick.
I reject your humble opinion and replace it with my own: Kawhi smooths things over with SA, Pop talks sweet SJW talk to Bron Bron and James joins up with his padnuh Dejounte Murray in the Alamo City

Curious to see if the new look Cavs can stay hot coming out of the break. They were starting to roll before the break.

quote:I got a better opinion. Kawhi shuts it down for the rest of the season. The relationship is damaged beyond repair. He eventually leaves the Spurs for another team. San Antonio can't get anybody to join them in free agency. Pop retires. RC Buford announces he has chronic IBS and will be stepping down. The Spurs then hire former Spur legend Dell Demps to replace Buford as the GM. The Spurs then fade into obscurity for the next 30 years.

I'd say that's way more likely. I'll believe a disgruntled superstar willingly leaves SA/Pop when I see

If only one could hope and dream.

I still am skeptical things are as bad as the media is reporting. It's not like Kawhi just picked up and went to New York for treatment by himself. He has been with Spurs team reps the entire time.

I can already foresee the narrative. If the rox win "Wow, we was there in person. CC just beat the best team in history."
If the rox lose "Sorry, family in town. Don't have any time to talk about what happened."

whether CC wins or loses it will be a great trip I can tell you that now bubba.

I feel like this is one of those stories we won't fully know all the details of for at least a couple of years, if ever
