I've seen it mentioned, but why was it such a sure thing that Ball wouldn't go #1 basically all year. Seems like he could be the best player.

because at the end of the day a player who can reliably go get points on his own is seen as more valuable

i still think fultz will end up being the #1 guy from the draft but lonzo has looked great

Because Alex Caruso told Philly not to take him because he wanted to turn Ball into the star that he is going to be

In all honesty, Fultz has the more complete game between the two. Much better scorer, can still move the ball around, better defender. And Fultz fits a lot better in Philly than Ball with their idea of having Simmons as the point forward

I'm just glad the Kings and Knicks (no surprise here) were dumb enough to pass on DSJ at point guard and give the Mavs a franchise-changing gift

players like fox and DSJ naturally thrive in the summer league when their overall athleticism dominates

They grew some weird fascination with him. The one I'm laughing at more is Peyote Phil taking Ntilikina one spot before DSJ.

The guy who hurt his knee the first practice over here and didn't even play a minute in Orlando. They struck gold with Porzingis, but they will strike out on one pitch with this one

So thats just gonna disappear when they get to the NBA regular season?

Sure they will have rookie moments, but lets not act like Fox is way below Lonzo in PG play.

"According to ESPN Stats and Info, Swanigan is on pace to become just the fourth rookie to ever average a double-double in summer league, joining Blake Griffin, Kevin Love and Marreese Speights."

I'd link it up but I stole it from another forum.

Swanigan is going to get minutes this season

Fox and Lonzo will both be really good players. Smith Jr has impressed me the most out of all though.

What does Lonzo decide to do tonight? Triple double or 30 points?

Just signed him onto the SL team. Problem is, he more than likely won't sign a two-way deal

He's literally worn every brand this week. He's got Anta, Peak, and Li Ning left

Still need Reebok. Maybe he can pull out some Shaq's or Kemp's if they win
