Since there are many different teams posters figured we might want to keep up. Lots of activity is coming. Lots of teams trying to get better and others trying to unload salary.

Looks like Giannis trade will happen today or tomorrow and then the floodgates will open
I'm sure the Hawks will rape Dumars/Pels again

Shams Charania
@ShamsCharania
The Oklahoma City Thunder are finalizing a trade to send guard Aaron Wiggins to the Atlanta Hawks for two second-round picks (Atlanta's in 2030 and the least favorable of Hawks/Lakers in 2032), sources tell ESPN.
——
It won’t be the last move:
Entering the offseason, Oklahoma City had a projected tax penalty of $213M.
The trade reduces that number to $152M.
The Thunder enter the Tuesday Draft with two picks in the top-17 (no. 12 and 17).
——
Hearing Lakers have interest in Dort.

@JWeinbachNBA
The Thunder and Mavericks have discussed a trade framework that would swap the Nos. 12 and 17 picks for the No. 9 overall pick, per @TheSteinLine.
As I mentioned two weeks ago, this would be a more than understandable move for both teams…

Jake Weinbach @JWeinbachNBA If the Thunder move up in the draft, trading No. 12 and No. 17 to the Mavs for No. 9 would make too much sense for both teams. OKC would likely have a front court target in mind while Dallas would receive two coveted prospects and more value for the long-term future.

Feels like Boston right? Still pretty crazy how he somehow is in his 30s now
Posted on 6/22/26 at 10:06 am to WestCoastAg
Giannis really has been quiet since like 2021
Seems like its Boston and Heat, and I don't see how Heat can match a player like Jaylen Brown

Yeah I was thinking the same thing
He never struck me as the type of player whose style would age well
But shite if he can be 90% of his peak with that Boston roster and a healthy Tatum then I’d have them as favorites in the East

Lakers are under pressure, their clock is ticking on promises made to Luka and making team a contender. If they don’t act enough Luka could end up leaving at some point.
Here’s where Dort rumor came from:
Evan Sidery
@esidery
The Thunder are in active talks with multiple teams on trading Lu Dort’s $17.7 million expiring contract.
If OKC trades Dort with nothing in return, they instantly create a $17.7 million TPE to use in any deal over the next year.
Keep an eye on the Lakers as a team in pursuit.

The Miami Heat don’t want to gut their roster and draft capital for Giannis Antetokounmpo, per @Anthony_Chiang
“While three-time All-Star center Bam Adebayo is the only Heat player truly off the table in Antetokounmpo trade discussions, the Heat doesn’t want to gut its team and draft capital in a deal.”

A potential swap of Derrick White for Naz Reid and draft capital is picking up some steam behind the scenes.
If the Celtics acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, Reid would be a fantastic stretch five fit alongside him.

Ja Morant to the Pelicans would be something…not something good, but something.

Ja is a good player if they can keep him away from guns and stuff like that lol. Keep him focused he can play.

Maybe if he went to Denver lol
Dude will die or kill sometime if he goes to NOLA

Riley is too focused on being average. He said after they picked Beasley #2 overall that they’d never be in that slot again, and he’s been correct, but they’ve also been in mid-tier limbo for too many years and this kind of thinking will keep them there. The roster is extremely replaceable. Very annoying as a heat fan.

I don’t think a borderline retard like Ja needs to be in NOLA doing his gun toting stupidity.

It is. No way the Lakers end up with ware and Stewart for giving up a single first and Vanderbilt
Would be amazing if true but its not

I’m very hopeful of Portland’s future with those MIL picks but idk how to turn down Brown. Hopefully we can keep at least one of those picks if we do any type of trade but I doubt it
Posted on 6/22/26 at 11:57 am to Fun Bunch
The Tatum/Brown heavy three ball strategy has reached its ceiling. They aren’t good three point shooters to keep taking as many as they are. They don’t have enough size on the roster ever since the second Apron caused them to ship Porzingis to Golden State.
Whether it’s Giannis or someone else they need to move Brown for a big.

@BrettSiegelNBA
Sources say the Hawks are not done making moves after trading for Aaron Wiggins, and have received calls regarding both the 8th and 23rd picks.
Hawks don't necessarily want to move down from #8, and a new name has emerged as a dark-horse candidate for them:
Brayden Burries.
