Mike Conley, Grizzlies Agree Upon Five-Year, $153M Deal (Richest in NBA history)
For a dude who has never made an all-star game. He's good, but damn.

Impressed by Memphis's dedication to staying above average.

It's a max contract. People gotta stop freaking out about these dollar figures at some point.
Obviously they'd have preferred to keep him for less, but it would be dumb to let him walk (especially after nabbing Parsons).

That's a lot to pay to hang around the 5 seed.

Really like this move if it does ending up being Howard instead of Horford. We know what we have in Horford and would've had to pay him for 5 years, instead of the the 3 years that we signed Howard.

Playoffs are fun. Try to catch an injury break or two in the postseason. Hope one of the young prospects they have turn in to something.

Hawks and grizz are in similar spots. Makes no sense to rebuild from where they are.

I think it's the fact that he even got a max contract is the problem. Plus he is now the highest paid player on the NBA.
That's just insane

Averaged 4 and 2 for Indy last year.
Seriously.
Seriously.

Mavs and others were willing to offer the max though.....

Had a nice playoff round, I think.

Dwyane Wade is in contract talks with the Knicks & Bucks and could schedule meetings next week, sources told ESPN.

Then let them. Conley isn't a max player, regardless of what the cap is
And I know the market dictates what the max player is, but I'm talking about on the court.
