With Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, and Russell Westbrook those appear to be the cream of the crop.
Then you have several other guys that will probably get a max or close to max deal even though they are not worth it. 2017 NBA Free Agents

San Antonio, Toronto, Portland all battling for Pau Gasol
I hope Toronto gets Pau, less talent in the West is better for the Pels. I think he would be really good fit in SA.

Yeah, the 76'ers really are set up well. If those kids develop and they add a piece next year they could be really good.
Celtics would still be in a good position next year as well.

probably the best bet. Give it another year. If it doesn't work out and RW bolts, the Celtics will still be available and he wont look near as bad as going to GS.

I'm aware, they will receive a nice pay raise. I'm just not excited about LeBron because he will just take a max deal from Cleveland.
Durant depends on what he does this year but staying in OKC is the most logical.

Are the Cavs going go do anything this year??
Posted on 7/4/16 at 8:46 am to GermantownTiger
Doesn't appear that way unless they are waiting for Durant to decide to try and move Love...

They can't do much of anything. They are way above the cap. They will resign JR and probably look for some veteran ring chasers. They aren't trading Love, they already said so.
Also, if Cavs win again next year, no one is getting paid more than LBJ, not even Durant.

They'll both get the max.
Posted on 7/4/16 at 9:12 am to 13SaintTiger
Durant and Lebron will both get maxed next year, so arguing who gets more is dumb.

He's a net negative these days, good for the rest of the league.
