For the Bulls, they needed a PG and Rondo is the best available

I'm guessing you don't see the borderline moronic contradiction in that sentence?

Yeah dude you're way too smart for me to even converse with. It's clear you are very informed and know a lot about the NBA. Are you an insider? Could've fooled me.

Golden states bench was far superior to Miami's. Not really even debatable

Yep. And Iggy was a huge role model and leader for that team. Him accepting the 6th man role set the tone for their other players playing the roles given to them selflessly

you know it just occurred to me that KD probably honest to god doesn't know what he wants to do

he's probably made a decision and is gonna sleep on it and see if he feels the same tomorrow. If that is the case it's GS

Makes your "Celtics could have had KD" take even more absurd

just heard a NBA show on sirius xm and i forgot the guys name, but some analyst said that hes hearing that KD was super impressed by GS and was really torn, however in the end doesnt think he can abandon what they've built in OKC.

said he wants to finish the job and will be shocked if doesnt stay in OKC

I wouldn't be shocked. I think he wants to leave for GS but doesn't want to upset OKC organization or fans. In the end I think he signs a 1 year deal and gives it one more shot.

here's a thought

he could sign a 1 year deal with GS and go back to OKC

this is THE only chance he will ever have to join GS with the way the contracts line up. it's take it or leave it. next year victor and westbrook will be FAs i believe he can go back to OKC

that and i think he's doing all this becuase of westbrook in the first place

Royce Young? @royceyoungFrom what I understand, it's Thunder versus Warriors for Durant.

You gotta think he gives it one more go. He's at least gotta test out the new teammates that OKC got. He will end up signing 1+1 with OKC

Yeah GS isn't gonna take him on a one year deal. OKC will.

The other thing that Durant has to think about is what shots at a title will be available next offseason if he goes back to OKC?

Golden State is going to match any offer sheet to Barnes if Durant stays, so they may not have the money. San Antonio would likely be there assuming this is Duncan and Ginobili's last year

Yeah I think that's the best thing for him
