Only to those who watched just the finals.

Young people say that about everything whether it's true or not. Sometimes the past generations and teams and things really were better. Sometimes they certainly weren't. Get over yourself.

That's not the point. The point is at least a decent enough amount of teams had hopes of COMPETING. And the top seeds had to play their A game in the first round of could get bounced.
You said it wasn't surprising for an 8 seed upset to happen 7 years ago, except it never happened once 7 years ago. The only time an 8 seed upset ever happened was in 94, 99, 2007, 2011, 2012. So in fact, 2 upsets have occurred during the "super team" era.
You are a joke

Then what are you saying? You are having a conversation with someone who likes Love.

Good god. Some of you hop on so many bandwagons, if you had to fight in a war you would prolly get shot jumping from fox hole to foxhole to find the "best one"
It's ride or die with my generation. Talking to you is like talking to an alien. Lord help us if you are the future.

Give me some examples. The NBA and NFL are unarguably at their peaks, and will only continue to climb, but this is probably close to the NFL peak due to the concussions and health issues. The MLB is making more money then ever with a nice young batch of stars to take over the game the next 15 years. Just to drop a little truth bomb on you, ALL athletes are better now than they were 30 years ago. Get the frick over yourself.

i have no dog in the hunt, but i would be really surprised if Durant leaves OKC.
i would say its 70% OKC, 20% GS, and 10% Spurs
i just think at the end of the day its hard to leave all that you've known. he knows what he means to that small market and knows that him leaving would tear that city apart.
just dont see it happening

I'm willing to bet you never fought in anything whereas I have been to war. Hopefully you are as old as your posting makes you out to be then we won't have to deal with you much longer.

you're laughing. 80s/90s players were KILLERS. They wanted to eat each other's hearts out , not team up.
If you had a super team, it was from a shrewd organization's front office making slick moves.

Except I've been to war and am still alive and kicking.

This has nothing to do with generations and everything to do with you just not knowing what you are talking about. Im more like the present.

You idiots are going to ruin the thread.

Well my response was, only when they win. If they lose, he isn't. That's the public perception. Or are you looking for my personal take?

It was ruined as soon a biggfella said KD is better than Bron.

We were on the fringe with the Rocket talk yesterday, but we're tipping over

Yeah, your personal take.
I realize to play with Lebron, he's going to have to have a different roll than he did in Minn. But, I certainly think he's regressed. I don't buy the weight loss as why he can't do shite inside. His drives to the basket are horrendous. He has no moves and doesn't know what to do once he gets there. His defense is simply bad. And if he isn't hitting 3s, he ain't good.
I might be too tough on him, idk

We should probably drop whatever we're talking about so the thread can be used for its intended purpose.
Starting.........now.

Too tough on him, he's a 20-10 stretch 4. His defense has improved. There is no doubt in my mind that he will work on his post moves this offseason.
