KD to the Warriors and the birth of the splash triplets would be as american as apple pie on this 4th of july weekend

Every OKC fan when KD announces he's signing with Golden State

If you believe KD is better than Lebron then I feel sorry for you

This is how I should know to never take your opinion on basketball seriously.
Less than 10 years ago teams in the west were routinely getting 50 wins as an 8 seed, and about 7 years ago it wasn't surprising for a #7 or #8 to upset a one because you had some seasons a 50 WIN TEAM MISSING THE PLAYOFFS.
But, by all means , keep pretending you know basketball by parroting the latest statistical PER / DRAT/BSSTAT/NERDp48 trend or regurgitating ESPN's brainwashing to act like you're informed.

At this juncture him being 27 and Lebron being 31, yes Kevin Durant is better. He's a better fit for a team. Im sad we disagree, I hope you're able to sleep tonight knowing someone out there in this universe disagrees with you

Name 3 8 seeds who got past the 1st round 2000-2010. Name 1 8 seed who got past the second round

someone should have offered barnes an offer sheet friday. by waiting now they can resign both because they have their bird rights
RFA offer sheets can't be signed until the moratorium is up, and the other team still has 72 hours to match.

Your favorite era had less parity hahahaha.
Don't know why you're laughing. 80s/90s players were KILLERS. They wanted to eat each other's hearts out , not team up.
If you had a super team, it was from a shrewd organization's front office making slick moves.
If Rodman signed with the Bulls, it wasn't to make a super team- it was to replace Grant when he went to ORL. CHI traded for Pippen on draft night and the rest were role players who were elevated by Phil and MJ, so they didn't want or need to add more all stars.
These guys today are so desperate to have a winning legacy, it's as pathetic as 10 guys at the REC center....and all the 17 year olds join up and play vs the 12 year olds instead of mixing the squads up to have balance. It's a LOSER MENTALITY and I'll never support it.
No

Old people are hilarious. The NBA is BETTER now than whenever your favorite players played.

That's not the point. The point is at least a decent enough amount of teams had hopes of COMPETING. And the top seeds had to play their A game in the first round of could get bounced.
Super teams now you just DVR past the first round b/c it's irrelevant.
But keep ignoring my central thesis and work around that baseline

Durant is just replacing Harrison Barnes

Well this thread is officially off the rails.
