No, because if they do that, then they might not have space to even sign Kawhi next offseason. If I’m the Spurs, I don’t care what they do. If you want Kawhi, I want Ingram at a minimum.

Here's the thing. People lose sight of the fact this is all driven by Kawhi's dissatisfaction in San Antonio and that he would probably leave for nothing next summer.
The Spurs have some leverage, but they're ultimately the ones in the most need. The Lakers can settle for keeping Ingram and Kuzma. The Spurs don't do a deal, they probably have nothing come next year.
They have to make the best of a bad situation.

I’m not sure if any of these guys (centers) are a good fit. But looks like Cuban is hell bent on spending $ now

Also, for you Lakers fans, you should hope DeAndre opts out of his contract because Marc Stein is reporting Wesley Matthews would go back to LAC in any trade offer.
Meaning the Mavs would still have cap room to potentially offer Randle something fairly substantial

IMO, Jordan and Capela are the best fits. With Smith Jr and Doncic you want a low usage defensive center, IMO.

I'm not a Lakers fan but I'd have to believe he's much better as a PF but I'll yield to them on him.

Have to love Twitter. NBA trade talker says breaking news according to sources Kawhi a done deal for Ingram, Kuzma, and Hart plus 2020 first rounder but that was 8 hours ago and no one else has said a peep.
