Loyalty doesn't mean you don't do what's necessary to improve your chances of winning. Wasn't D-Wade traded this year?

Loyalty means if you think you can win the title with Eric and Tucker etx you don’t trade some of your best friends to Ohio to make a super team just to win a title that will ultimately be discounted bc you went about it he wrong way.

Kevin Durant - true competitor

Went where his best chance for the title was.

The ultimate competitor. Will do anything to win.

Yep you pegged this one bubba.

Competitors aren't worried about who's saying what about the titles they won. Again, that's ego that cares about that stuff.

KD's infinitely more of a competitor than Harden. When it was all on the line he was balling vs Miami while HardLn was curled up in the fetal position at the end of the bench.

That's probably why Lebron's not interested. He saw the look of fear in HardLn's eyes years ago.

I think you gonna be all alone on that island bubba calling Durant a great competitor after the move he made. But you already made your bed talking crazy to disparage James now you look like a bumbling fool bc you didn’t think about what you were saying meant when applied to other players.

It's hard to say if he would vanish for parts of games b/c of the extremely dull offense A&M runs or if he really does stop caring for stretches. When he is engaged he can really turn the tide of a game though. I'd say he could end up being a lot like DeAndre Jordan if he takes his craft seriously.

He played out of position so much and the general effort level of our basketball team fluctuated so much I would take what you read/watch with a big grain of salt. He played the 4 for most of his time at A&M and he is obviously not a 4. I don’t think he was ever truly comfortable on the court the entire time he was here

Hard to predict what the future holds but he has the athletic ability to be a force defensively in the NBA, and I think Boston has the best odds of any org to get the most out of him. In the late first round I think it was excellent value

Stevens will have to stay on his arse. When he's motivated and that switch is on, he's a top 10 prospect like earlier projections had him. I think being with the Celtics will be a far better environment than the team he was around at A&M, where there was a general laziness and a dysfunctional team

I didn't say KD was a great competitor, just way more of one than Harden is.

KD tried to do it the right way in OKC but HardLn couldn't keep up his end of the bargain, messed up KD's opportunity.

You said the truest competitor is the one who does whatever it takes to win. That would say Durant is the truest competitor. He joined a 73 win squad after.

Given what he went though when HardLn messed up his opportunity, I think KD is a true competitor. He paid his dues. Not his fault he couldn't pick up HardLn's slack vs Lebron and the Heat. Same thing CP3's going through right now.

I didn't realize two others chimed in before I did. Scrolled up to realize we all had the exact same sentiment

I mean it's true. KD balled out those playoffs. He has nothing to be ashamed about.

Harden wasn’t even on the roster that blew the 3-1 lead to GS.

Well of course. Harden was the focus of the heat. That has been publicised. They gave James extra attention on D to shut him down. The other guys could not pick up the slack and the heat won. Great coaching move by spo.
