i feel this way as well. i really doubt wed be seeing something like this if he was staying in okc
100%. ESPN and the like have a vested interest in pumping up the blue blood teams (Lakers, Cowboys, Yankees, Bama, etc) even when they suck because it does tend to get them ratings.
Paul George is a really good player but I don't consider him a Superstar or anything like that. A 3 part series means his agents are putting it out there that he will be in LAL and for ESPN, that means ratings.
IMO.

I'm so ready for the Suns to move for Patrick Beverley.

The idea that the Lakers are the top option for him outside of OKC might be enough to drive ratings for them.

Ag you think if we somehow get George then Lebron is a foregone conclusion?

i think it would help obviously, far from a forgone conclusion though. i have no idea whats going to end up happening with lebron either way. could see five different things happening

The year is 2024. The Utah Jazz are playing the Houston Rockets in the playoffs. 4-time All-Star Donovan Mitchell enters the arena wearing a sweatshirt that says "rookie?" on his chest, sweatpants displaying "rookie?" on his arse, and a tattoo that reads "rookie?" on his forehead

It’s just such a weak “troll”
It’s essentially him admitting he isn’t as good as Simmons

Yea, it's pretty bad now. The only way for him to win is him admitting ben's better but he's not a rookie.
