Preseason starts 2 weeks from today.
Training camp and media day for some teams start 1 week from today.

im assuming butler is getting dealt within the next week before camps start but maybe thats a little too agressive. but i feel like most teams would like to get this done before so they can get him into camp and the same goes for whatever the wolves get back. but they might want to wait it out until the actual start of the regular season
either way, what is a package the wolves can get? certainly should be more than what the spurs got for kawhi given that butler still has two years left and the spurs got an all star
eta: just looked, butlers second year is a player option so maybe he does not have as much trade value as i originally assumed. still should get a decent haul though

I’d like the know wtf is going on in Minnesota? It seems like all the players hate one another and imo Thibs was just a pretty bad hire for that team in the first place.
Imo they should break the whole thing up and start rebuilding around KAT while hes still locked up for a while but holy shite idk how they would move Wiggins’ contract.

they are in a weird spot. if they can get some future picks for butler, they could successfully pivot around KAT pretty easily though imo

I think the Suns priority is definitely a PG, but I think they'd consider giving up Josh Jackson + Picks if they get any kind of sense Butler would sign a new deal.
If Booker develops even somewhat like Harden offensively (seems like they want him to be more of a primary facilitator), Booker/Jimmy would be a nasty backcourt.
