(con.) Jimmy/his side expressed gratitude for the #Twolves extending such a nice offer. Logically speaking, it just makes sense to wait, even while betting on maintaining health. He can make a lot more $$ here or elsewhere next July.

Definitely think there's some smoke to Jabari Parker and the Bulls. Apparently he wants to be a Bull, according to sources

This has to suck for the Wolves who were just now starting to get their shite together since KG left.

He was never going to accept that. It kinda doesn't even make sense for them to offer it. He can get way more if he just signs next offseason.

Well they extended it knowing he's going to decline. It's more of a goodwill gesture, they know he's gonna wait but it might stir the pot if they don't.

Jimmy Butler could sign a 4-year, $140M deal with another team as an unrestricted free agent next offseason OR a 5-year, $188M deal with Minnesota. So what do you think he's going to do with a 4/$110M offer today besides crumple it up like a box score & toss it over his shoulder?

Kahwi must be Introvert.

borderline autistic

If he were 5 6" instead of 6 5" he'd be a bookkeeper.
Running numbers. Being careful to touch only the white squares.

If there's one thing we've learned from the whole Kawhi deal, it's that his reservedness is almost certainly not an act. I don't think I've ever seen a pro sports athlete of his caliber who manages to be as unplugged socially. I truly believe he has little to no idea how this whole situation is playing out in the sports megasphere, choosing instead to rely completely on his uncle/team/whatever to handle his affairs. An infantile mindset (not uncommon among athletes) combined with a complete lack of social awareness.

Which makes his want to go to a big time city even stranger to me

He just wants to be home. Size of LA notwithstanding, he's already familiar/comfortable there.

I thought Svi was a great value pick. He can be a legit bench option and is actually pretty young for a guy who spent all four years at KU. He moves well, is a competent defender and can knock down the J.

Let us reserve final judgment until we see how easily he is or is not concussed. Have LBJ pop him upside the head a time or two, then see if he intentionally fouls out of the next game.

I understand that but I thought there were also rumors about him favoring New York as a landing spot. I know that that was very early on but still didn't add up to me.
