Spurs are going to be mega assholes about it and I dont see anyway the Lakers get Kawhi without getting fleeced. I think the Lakers will be desperate enough to give up too much IF a deal even gets done which is still a question.
Paul George signing that max with okc changes the dynamics of this whole thing.
He was all don't waste assets to trade for me, I'm coming. Now he stays in okc of all places.
You'd have to think there's a chance kawhi may not come next year. What makes matters worse, he gets traded to a contender in the east and it's even harder to leave. He could dominate for another 5 years with Boston.
La Lakers gonna be scared and throw a shite ton at this point.

After this Ariza move, Phoenix is set up splendidly for next summer. If they trade Warren and stretch Knight sometime over the next year, they have nearly TWO max cap slots available at around $62.2 million.

Chandler Parsons and Melo seem like the go to for this.

It seems like the Lakers front office read the whole Paul George situation really really poorly.
Maybe their front office felt like simply being the Lakers entitled them to a chance but they didnt do their homework.

Do we even know if that happened? Seems like the Lakers fueled media tried to will it into existence.

But really, who do y'all go after?

Woj reported that George literally told them to save their assets and not trade for him because he was coming in free agency

You are crazy defensive for something you claim to be confident about

Are you sure? Isn't that tampering? Sounds like bullshite Lakers fodder per usual.

If you get Lebron, just have him rest this year, play like 30 games, heal up, rig the lottery for a top 3 pick. Take Zion. Get Kawhi in FA.
Lebron
Kawhi
Ingram
Lonzo
Kuz
Zion
Ship?
