On the Warriors front... The midlevel ($5.3 mil) is projected to cost $22.5 mil after taxes, so they want major impact. Dwight wants in, but is fighting Warriors skepticism. Ariza would definitely consider it if he doesn't find a big payday. Avery Bradley?

Avery Bradley would be such a nice pickup

What are they crazy? Sign Dwight Howard and schedule the next parade.

Seriously. They must be worried over whether he'll accept his role

They need more wing depth more than they need another big IMO. Trading someone like Bradley in for Swaggy P would be big. Howard isn’t worth the risk considering how little they use a traditional center

I get it if there's personality conflict but he's a slam dunk for on-court purposes. They've been doing it with Javale Magee and Zaza. Dwight's still borderline All-star talent.
Ariza and Bradley would also be good though.

I think dwight would be perfect for their bench squad. Being able to have two elite low defense guys that you could play all game is really enticing
Avery Bradley would be good as well. Can't go wrong with either imo

I understand the need angle but the talent disparity is too great to ignore here. Dwight would create new problems on how to defend them.

Did Paul George opt out? They claimed he had till 12am last night to do it.
And the odds on Lebron to Lakers, one one site is -50000

For the first time in his career, Dwight will shut up, not complain about touches, and focus completely on defense if he goes to GSW imo

Isn’t any money for Dwight just offset since he’s a buyout? I would think they could get both if that’s true which is terrifying

I don't think he has to opt out. There's a player opt-in clause that he simply didn't exercise, same with Lebron. Small difference.

If I’m GS, I wouldn’t want Dwight anywhere near my locker room.
That money would be better spent on Ariza
