I went ahead and put the Pelicans down +3.5.

Looking at some Ivy League games now, but I haven't followed much of that conference.

Spurs -5 @ Detroit
Grizz +8 vs. GS -- Grizz always play GS tough
Wash -6 vs Indy -- not sure indy can score with was
Mil -5 vs. LAL -- Last game of a long road trip. Return of Kris Middleton, i may double down here. Thinking the Lakers just want to get home, teams haven't played very well this year in the last game of a long road trip. May get 1st half line as well.
Minn -3.5 --- public fade
Brooklyn +7 Miami --- Brooklyn is close to winning recently maybe tonight is the night
NYK -1 -- least confident here. not sure what knicks team shows up

weighted top to bottom. riding with a lot of home teams tonight.will see how this plays out before judging the 9:30 games.

Detroit U seems like a threat to win straight up. Slim pickings from home dogs tonight in college. Detroit beat Oakland the first game in Oakland.

this looks like one that nugget would be all over Det +7.5

Actually Oakland at -7 was the only play I was considering tonight when I looked at the board this morning

Detroit beat Oakland on Oakland floor last month and sent Oakland from Horizon front runner to tailspin. I think Oakland will take this game personally.

Still might jump on it

Hit both straight bets and threw Miami and GS in a parlay with them so it was a good night.

I don't bet hockey but I had a guy tell me to take the over in that Blackhawks game. I didn't play it but something about Winnipeg giving up at least 3 goals in 14 straight games now. Should've listened.

I bet hockey because I was losing my arse off and it worked All I do is bet moneylines on hockey but I've been measuring some of these teams on Totals lately.

For any sport I generally go to Covers website and Odd Sharks to gauge public consensus on Picks then begin running my numbers. I'll also go on Vegas insider and watch for Sharps moving lines against or with public consensus. Everyone has their methods. If you notice I go with favorites a lot of the time but that's only if the sharps are leaning that way too. If they buck public then I will follow with them a lot of the time.

One crazy situation I was stuck in was the Super Bowl. I really loved Atlanta because the Sharps would not let the -3 Pats Spread move to -3.5 even though the public was pounding the Pats. Vegas wouldn't let the Spread go up because too much Sharp money was on Atlanta. The opposite happened on the Total Points, most the week we were at 58 then the sharps bet the Under hard when they saw it hit 59.5. On my website the Under got down to 56.5!!!

My calculus left me only one option.
4 Bets all Teases (Line was -3 Pats 57 when I bet)

Atlanta +12
Over 51

Atlanta +12
Under 63

NE +3
Over 51

NE +3
Under 63

Pats win by 6 and total points were 62. Everything Hit

That was me but I stayed away from Monmouth.

Haven't liked a side more than Oregon on Saturday in a long time.

Saturday parlay of Kentucky, Kansas, Oregon, Villanova, Gonzaga and Arkansas. It's 40 or 45 to 1 depending on where you bet. You get 4 top 5 teams giving up less than 5 points, Kentucky only giving up 7 against a team coming off 4 OTs, and a decent Arkansas team only giving 5 to garbage LSU. LSU is getting love for only losing to KY by 7 after KY stopped playing. Will probably play one with KY 1h if it's at 3.5 and one full game. Straight bets on the other 5 with 2U on Oregon and maybe Gonzaga.

Yes they're all on the road but I like talent to win out.

UNC Greensboro also a play against Western Carolina. Only 7.5 or 8 and Carolina can't keep it close against any decent team.

UT Martin also...damn I like a lot of games today.

Georgia State, Central Michigan, Eastern Washington, Rice...
