To those who don’t know better, this sounds shitty by Erman.
To those who know the real story, Jackson was pitting all his assistants against each other and lying about doing so. The recordings were Erman’s way of proving it.
Given that Erman got other jobs in coaching after this and Jackson hasn’t should tell you a lot.

Usually something like that would blackball a coach, even if the assistant had legitimate reasons for documenting conversations. Everyone in the NBA must know that Jackson is toxic.

Jackson did a lot of very weird shite as coach which contributed to him never getting a job again.
