No no no

NFL and CFB are in the sane position at #1 i dont separate them
NBA is atleast even with MLB but i understand an arguement can be made about MLB over NBA

Where you lost me is #4. There is no way in hell autoracing is above the NBA or even College basketball

Besides for guys in the south, nascar is nowhere near NBAs history or current popularity and youre as oblivous as shite if you really think that

The NBA is coming off one of the most popular and exciting seasons ever

ETA and if you can enjoy a 5 hour baseball game or a 12 hour nascar race over a greatly played Basketball game then you must be a very dull person...or too old to keep up with that much excitement

NASCAR is insanely popular--not sure what the actual numbers are now, but I know for awhile there last decade it was the #2 most popular sport in the country.

Oh, and I can definitely enjoy a good race as much as a good basketball or football game. And I'm only 23. And I'm black. Ain't America great?

If I remember right, those numbers are skewed because you can fit 200k around a track whereas you can only fit 35k in a huge baseball stadium, but all the teams don't play on the same night and you have day games.

NASCAR ratings and attendance are way down from the highs of 10 years ago. 2011 Chase is the first year since like 06 or 07 that ratings actually went up and didn't decline

If they have no contracts, is he still eligable to pay the fine. If I had no job or contract, I would say screw you, pay my contract then I'll pay your fine.

LINK Here is the list as of 2010 and the NBA is Indeed at number 5 and will be falling even further if they dont get their crap together. I use to like to watch it when Magic,Michael and Bird. Nwadays itsjust not to entertaining. As boring as i personally find Nascar, i can watch it before a NBA game. But it does have its fans and i hope they get it back soon.

is there any data whatsoever in that post?

CFB is way, way ahead of MLB. look at the BCS title game ratings compared to the avg world series rating

I work in Dallas (home of the champs last year) and I have heard zero office buzz about the NBA season not starting on time. I don't listen to the sports talk stations except when commuting but I have not heard one word about it.

Sure, the WS was going on but it isn't now. There wasn't all that much of a buzz about it last year until the playoffs either. I don't think anybody gives a shite until football is done anyway. They should have the season and play about 40 games, would save wear and tear on their players.

Not disagreeing with this at all. Nobody cares about anything other than football during football season, thats why its the most popular sport in america

But to say the motorsports are more popular than the NBA and that nobody cares about the NBA (90 percent of america as he put it) is just an absurd statement

There's no way MLB is more popular than College Football. Hell turn on a MLB game and you'll see thousands of empty seats in over 3/4 of the stadiums.
