Parsons couldn't sign the offer until July 10th. Then the number isn't hitting Houston's cap until they match three days later. Theoretically the LeBron, Melo, Bosh stuff will be settled by then.

Yeah makes sense I was just thinking if someone swooped in and offered him a ton, therefore screwing Houston

I don't think teams are worried about screwing other teams. They are looking to improve their own teams.

This free agency is going to suck until Lebron makes a move.

@egoldie80 1h
Source: Lebron has reached out to at least one of the Cavs players within the last week and told him, "get ready & be prepared."

I just still can't believe Wade opted out if LeBron and Bosh weren't 100% back.

What I don't understand is, if Lebron wants to win, why cleveland?
Nothing to do with their history, but their team make-up. Pretty much their whole team has never made the playoffs, much less the finals. I recognize the draw of "going home" but at this point the only thing that would be on my mind is winning Larry O'briens... with a distant second making a lot of money.
I am not saying the Cav's won't be good or championship caliber with him. I am suggesting that the choice of staying on a team and organization and GM that knows what it takes to win has to be a huge factor.
I think that's the very reason melo goes back to NY and why I hope lebron stays in south beach

It may be past the point of no return. This smoke with LBJ and the Cavs has to be real, otherwise Lebron looks bad all over again.
