One of the CBS reporters I follow retweeted a fake account right around the start of free agency other than that I haven't even seen these fake accounts pop up on my tweetdeck.

I think people are following the hashtags like #NBA or #Heat instead of just following the big NBA news breakers directly.
ah ok...that makes a little more sense. People should just stick to their feed though.

If the Rockets sign Bosh, then they can go over the cap to re-sign Parsons
They can, but they would have to renounce his rights first and he would become an unrestricted free agent. They could still go over the cap but wouldn't have the right to match any offer.
I want LeBron to go to Cleveland which then sends Bosh to Houston and Parsons to Dallas. Then Dallas ships Wright and Felton off for picks to sign Stephenson.
Don't wake me up just yet

Sometimes if you follow Parody accounts like John Madden, happy Gilmore, fake sportscenter, etc they will show up on your timeline if retweeted.
I've seen that with Adam Schefter and NFL news

95% sure that they already did this.

How would minutes be shared with Parsons, Monta and LS?

PG: Ellis
SG: Stephenson
SF: Parsons
With guys like Stephenson and Parsons, all of the point guard/play-running duties wouldn't be on Ellis, like it was last year with Calderon playing off the ball about half the time.

Gotcha. Looking back I see that they simply declined his team option. I'd imagine that this will make some teams reluctant to tie up cap space for 3 days while waiting on Houston to match.

Why would they have to do that?
And more importantly, if you renounce bird rights, doesn't that specifically exclude the opportunity to go over the cap to sign that guy?

True but it was my understanding Harris was brought back to eat up about 25 minutes a game.
I guess they'd just roll like Indiana with no true PG until the second unit comes on.
Would certainly fap to that though

Because his rights still count as a $2 mil and change cap hold on the team, which is money they would need to sign Bosh.
If they brought Bosh in, they would basically have to wipe their roster clean and go for vet minimum or near minimum guys

Harris hasn't agreed yet, which could also be why Mo Williams is meeting with Dallas for the second time. I think Cuban might be trying to get a vet minimum or near-vet minimum from Mo first.

It's tricky, but I think they still do for some odd CBA reason. I know Mavericks boards have tried breaking this down from every single angle

That Scola amnesty is screwing them

Excuse the ignorance, but why wouldn't a team interested in Parsons force the Rockets' hand?
If Houston is wAiting on Bosh, seems like a team could come in and draw up an offer sheet for Parsons and force Houston to let him walk or bring him back and screw up cap space? Or does it not work like that?

Someone needs to make a move for fricks sake. This speculation is becoming boring.

Oh trust me, I have also. I just go off of what other people are saying that appear to have much more free time on their hands.

Because I don't think Parsons has to accept it right away. I don't know how long he has to decide, but the three-day countdown only starts once he accepts an offer.
Also, Parsons can't be offered or accept anything until Thursday which is another reason why Houston is trying to get in on Bosh early
