I don't think they are better, but I don't think they are a big downgrade. When you have Harden playing poor D at the 2, you need above average D at the other guard spot. That's one reason why I am so high in Johnson. With his height he can take the tougher match up out of the 1 & 2. And I agree Lin is really a SG but that's why they kept Daniels

And yeah you can't really look too much into D League stats for the Rockets because of how they play. The RGV Vipers are all 3s, layups, and dunks, with nothing in between

The D-League is hard to judge how good a player is going to be because their styles are so much different than the NBA. There's more of a ME concept than a team. I hate to admit but I watch the Texas Legends games primarily for Ricky Ledo, I know I'm a nerd
Also, I thought Mike Miller was supposed to decide soon? I thought that meant last night, but I guess his definition of soon and mine are not alike

Damn. This thread sucks now

To be fair, we've hit the post-big name lull. Now it's mostly just the veterans trying to get one last payday while teams want them to take the minimum.
Monroe is working on a long-term deal with the Pistons.
Seems like Bledsoe isn't going anywhere which surprises me why another team hasn't at least offered him a sheet to put some pressure on Phoenix.
Stephenson is still out there, but he may be a waiting game according to reports (CUBAN, give up Wright for him if you're reading this)
So we aren't left with much more now

+1
All the bitching between Rockets/Pelicans fans is really hurting the thread. They need a thunder dome thread instead of ruining this work of art that RTR put together for us.

Was hoping the Lakers would offer him. Im taking it that his past injuries are scaring teams off? I dont know.

This thread is missing out on so much earth-shattering NBA Free Agency news. Someone needs to report back on who recently followed who on Twitter. Twitter is legit.

Seems neither one of those guys has gotten much attention though

“There’s always some of that, but that’s just people checking,” Ainge said in February in reference to the shots in the dark. “I don’t have a problem with somebody calling me even if I don’t think it’s a reasonable offer. That happens all the time, and I’m sure I’ve done that, too. I don’t have any issues with that.
“But what I do have issues with is people that call with really no intention to make a deal and just an intention of being able to say they called. Then the next thing you know, as soon as they hang up the phone, there’s rumors that they’re trying to get Rondo. So it becomes a story that’s talked about for seven days, when in fact they never really did want Rondo and we definitely had no interest in getting rid of Rondo.
“We love Rondo, and we had no intention of doing that deal. But someone can call and feel good about themselves and make some bogus offer and then have a rumor out there that they’re trying to get him.” LINK

I don't think Morrow, McGary and Telfair is much of an improvement from Seflosha, Butler and Fisher.
Definitely not some massive improvement. But Sefalosha did not play well last year as a whole on either side of the ball. Brooks vastly over-relied on Fisher. And Butler disappeared much of the playoffs.
OKC desperately needed a spot up shooter which they got in Morrow, a versatile big man with some offensive abilities which they got in McGary, and rolled the dice on a guy in Telfair who should be fine as a 3rd string PG behind Westbrook and Reggie Jackson.

You're probably the main lightning rod of all of this.
