This would be my one problem with Morey if I was a Rocket fan.

While I respect how cold he can be with his thinking, at some point you have to consider human factors. The guy seems to just think about making HUGE moves and moving assets around, as if they are cases of some product.

me too. Dallas has had a helluva offseason.

PG-Felton/Harris
SG-Ellis
SF-Parsons
PF-Dirk
C-Chandler

Jefferson, Wright, Crowder off the bench.

I don't hate him at all and it is exciting to have a GM that doesn't just sit around. Things just backfired on him badly this offseason.

Beverley is 2nd team all NBA defender I'm sure every team would love to have him. Casspi couldn't beat out Cisco Garcia for minutes, he's a guy that will get little or no PT on any playoff team.

I don't think a lot of Pelicans fans want to claim you right about now.

And he'd be a 2nd team PG on at least half the teams in the league. I know you love PER. How about 53 out of 70 qualifying PGs?

You should know this but I'm not sure that you do. PER doesn't accuratley measure defense. He's top 5 defensively at his position. Asik was 35th in PER 2 years ago at center and you will see this year just like Rockets fans did that he has a huge impact on games.

Casspi isn't even that good. He's not even a second unit guy on a playoff team.

The one thing that would annoy me was that Harden is now the longest tenured Rocket apparently.

Having guys be a part of your favorite team for a while to watch them grow as players and to see them become a part of the community is part of why having a favorite team is so fun.

Plus I think constantly shaking things up is a bad move in general.

Self-righteous as usual.

He's top 5 defensively at his position.

And bottom 20 offensively. He's a role player.

Nah, they prefer finding players.

Right he's elite at defense, not good offensively. Any team in the league could've had an all NBA defensive player for a few hundred grand. Who found him in Russia and signed him? Morey. Beverley was only brought up because the guy was bashing Morey. I don't understand how Beverley only being a role player is important when he was signed for pennies and is now an ALL NBA performer. It was a huge win for Morey and the Rockets.

Off topic (I suppose?), but the Pistons have made some solid moves thus far. They have filled out the roster quite nice with Meeks, Augustin, Martin, and Butler, and drafting Dinwiddie in the 2nd round. Most importantly, all of them can shoot and/or score within their role.

I also hoping for the emergence of KCP next year as well (the coaching staff totally bottled him up offensively last year, he looked lost).

I am intrigued by SVGs direction of the team

Now we'll see what happens with JSmoove and Moose

Smith needs to be at the 4. He would be a better fit next to Drummond IMO. That would be a sneaky team in the East if they can manage to get something for Monroe.

I'm not sure. It seems like they've overpaid for most of what they've gotten.

Detroit is playoff bound, especially with SVG at the helm.

If the rumors were true, trading Monroe for Batum would have made the team very solid.

I can't argue about that in some regards, but you have to understand that the Pistons were one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA last year, especially at the 3 point line. If nothing else, all of the FAs can camp out at the 3 point line and shoot. They BADLY needed that.
