Wasn't Parsons their biggest trade chip? What else do they have? Couple of draft picks?

Well, thank you Mr. Morey for finding him. I'll now enjoy watching him play for the Mavs during his most productive years.

And Morey will find another for 10% of the cost, and Houston will be a better team than Dallas.

The blind faith in this guy is impressive considering the complete lack of on the court success.

They have your pick which was similar to the Toronto pick.

I'm really not liking this move though. I think Parsons can develop into a star. I actually believe he will in Dallas. At some point you have to stop seeing everyone as assets and let your young team grow. Jones was a first year starter last year. He's going to be good. It wouldn't have been the end of the world sticking with a starting 5 of Dwight, Jones, Parsons, Harden and Beverly. That's a young squad still growing. Like I said before, Ariza is not much of a down grade because he's a better defender and can hit the 3 but I would take Parsons over him all day every day if money was not involved.

Right they haven't had a losing season since he's been GM. He found a 15mil/year player in Parsons is Rd 2, a starting PG and 2nd team all NBA defender playing in Russia. blind faith

howards and parsons have the same agent. the rumour around houston is that morey agreed to decline parsons option in order to land dwight.

And have won how many playoff series? Not having a losing season isn't exactly a high bar.

Though by now Houston fans have had to lower the bar for all professional sports considerably.

You said "complete lack of on the court success" which isn't even close to correct.

Ok let's make a wager on it. You prove that it isn't and then I'll prove that it is. Then you pay me.

Jesus man, this offseason was a bust for the Rockets, stop trying to spin it into anything other than what it is

I don't see much of a spin job, not that I'd take your opinion seriously anyway iirc you didn't even know that Houston could go over the cap to sign Parsons and you live in Houston.
