The Kevin Love deal is pretty simple. It's either on the table for Wiggins + Pick + Filler right now or it isn't. If it is then there is no snag, if it isn't then LeBron has less of a reason to choose Cleveland. The fact that he had a deadline would affect the time constraints Cleveland and Minnesota would be working under, and hard deadlines are often what it takes to make one side blink and get a deal done (or not done if Cleveland blinks).
It's kind of funny that you are going out of your way to defend LeBron and make sure nothing seems like his fault, and in the process of doing so you are completely emasculating him and discrediting him for the very clear power he has here. LeBron is in control of this situation, and that doesn't happen very often in the battle of Billionaires vs. Millionaires.
