You mean those 3 guys on the news?
Yeah, because only a small minority of Cleveland sports fans hated LeBron after that?

quote:Ah gotcha, just a regular old, easy decision to make. Thanks for the clarification.
Please he's deciding where to play basketball for the next four years. His home where he is worshipped and would be immortalized for returning, or his new home where he is also immortalized. Money is basically the same.
quote:Why does he have to say it? He hasn't announced it yet, a little bit of logic used can tell you that, he shouldn't have to do the work for you. If he knew what the answer was 4 days ago, he would have decide 4 days ago and not met with Miami yesterday, fairly simple concept, no?
Then why not come out and say that

Answer: It doesn't.
Actually it does because it gives them a finite end point. The person you quoted is a Rockets fan who has legitimate concerns that if this drags on long enough, his team could be negatively impacted. If LeBron announced what most of us are assuming and what I clearly stated in my hypothetical release, that an end to this would be coming today, then the Rockets fans wouldn't care because a Friday decision works for them, a Monday decision screws them. The rest of us wouldn't care as much either because there'd be less to speculate about.

quote:This is definitely true. But the thing is, that's not his fault and there's nothing he could do to fix that.
He can't just "quietly" make a decision. Right or wrong, that's the reality.

quote:Then why'd he meet with Miami yesterday?
Very doubtful.
At least have some sort of basis for that thought process.

No we all hated him, but the jersey burning thing is the most overblown thing in the world.

quote:Ok, then what if this possible Love to CLE deal hits some sort of snag, or anything hypothetically that changes things and puts things up in the air while they get it figured out?
Actually it does because it gives them a finite end point
Then he doesn't decide Friday and you and everyone else are up in arms cause he told us he woudl decide on this day and he's not.
There's no winning for him to speak now, none.

You seriously can't be this dense. The dude was completely blindsided by the hate he got for the decision. He hate's to be hated. So the next chance he gets his team let's it turn into a circus once more? I realize he isn't the one reporting these things, but you have to be an idiot to not see transparency wasn't the best way to go this time around.

quote:Maybe he wanted to hear Riley's final pitch.
Then why'd he meet with Miami yesterday?
At least have some sort of basis for that thought process.
When you make a decision, you want to know you have listened to everything possible before you truly 100% decide.
I'm saying he's probably known for a while what he wants to do.

The perception of the act may have been a generalization, but the feeling was not.

I'm saying he's probably known for a while what he wants to do.
Like I said, at least have some sort of basis for it.

I can't keep track of the various ongoing disagreements in this thread

He may have wanted some time to let his decision sink in before he 100% pulls the trigger. See if anything can convince him otherwise.

@sheridanhoops: Anonymous quote calling @KingJames a "hypocrite" was removed from ESPN story.

I think he is talking to his family today and when they make a decision he will announce it.

I disagree, they're easy to keep track of.
