Not to break up the Houston circle jerk, but Kawhi is in Barbados wearing a Toronto Blue Jays jersey.

So he's staying now right?

Smoke screen. Kawahi grew up in a suburb only 1200 miles away from Houston. Been trying to get to Houston for years. Will pair great with hardwn

I find it hilarious that the Rockets are willing to basically gut their depth entirely to sign a guy that while a strong defender and good offensive player with limited range.
They will literally have no presence in the paint. Will be giving up sharpshooters from deep (Gordon) and glue guys like Tucker for this.
Are they really thinking they send out Capela, Gordon and Tucker to get Butler and improve the team? Is their thought process that DeAndre Jordan takes a paycut to come in?
They will have hurt what made them successful these past two years just to get a 3rd star that won't put them over the top.
I hope they do it just to watch my fellow Houstonians whine and cry after their childish owner and GM are proven to be idiots.
They are over the cap and have big contracts. Making $30 million in cap room is not possible. So they aren’t going to be able to sign a big time player in free agency. The only way is through trades.
If Butler says he’s leaving in free agency no matter what but would accept a sign and trade to the Rockets, Philly could get some return for Butler.
The Rockets could trade Capela to a team for a 1st round draft pick and package the pick along with Eric Gordon and filler to Philly for Butler.
The Rockets also have the $9.2 million MLE and $3.3 million bi-annual exception available to sign players in free agency this year.
Rockets could have Chris Paul, James Harden, and Jimmy Butler signed for several years and still have PJ Tucker and the MLE and BAE available to sign free agents this year.

Good for him if he stays in TOR. Makes you really lol at San Antonio doesn’t it. The man wasn’t even really trying to get to LA. He was just trying to get the heck out of San Antonio. I love pop but he really mis managed this one. He thought he could handle kawhi the way he handled Timmy. There’s only one Timmy.

You really do try hard, Piñata. Fail without ceasing, but the effort is there

Lakers thought that having lebron would make other top end players wanna go there. We got kawhi statin in TOR, butler choosing to sign and trade w CC over playing w lebron. Etx etx.

No bubba, that dog dont hunt. Kawhi has been tied to the clippers for over a year and they have literally been tampering with him. If they sont get him to sign....yikes

Houston was easily better than TOR. easily.
Toronto 58-24, Houston 53-29
Vs the west: Toronto 22-8(73%)Houston 32-20(61%
Vs the warriors with Thompson, without Durant: Toronto 2-2, Houston 0-1.25
quote:
Remember klay and Durant didn’t even play 200 min v TOR
They played 199. literally.
quote:
that was the wounded warriors TOR played.
Wounded warriors started against the rockets WBB. Curry and Thompson both rolled ankles in game 6 against clippers. Durant missing final 1.25 games.
The raptors beat the wounded warriors 4-2. The rockets lost to the wounded warriors 2-4. Or 0-1.25. However you want to look at it.
quote:
Meanwhile CC got nearly 500 min of those two guys.
Or 461 minutes. You’re only 39 minutes short, basically an entire game. More lies from a WBB.
quote:
300 more minutes of McKinnie and jerebko and those bums instead of klay and Kevin in a 6 game series is just massive.
Vs Houston: Mckinnie 49:48, jerebko 31:00 = 80:48 total minutes
Vs Toronto: 57:18, jerebko 25:49 = 83:07 total minutes
2:19 more total minutes for mckinnie and jerebko, average of 23 seconds per game.
Never change WBB

Davis is mentally deficient. Lebron told Davis he wanted to go to LA AD didn’t even make that decision.
