I’d be happy for Kemba
Our fanbase doesn’t give a frick. More people are Warriors fans because Steph is from Charlotte
Charlotte is a terrible sports city

He doesn’t deserve this shite

Good for him for getting that money for an organization that matters

they are incredibly similar type of players and while kemba isnt the functioning retard that kyrie is, it doesnt change the fact that a whole bunch of people pretty openly talked about how kyries style of play did not mesh with the roster, or stevens

I would be willing to bet on Kemba to adapt well over Kyrie for sure. I could see his contract being bad on the back end but Boston needs guys who can create their own shot and they basically have zero on their roster right now.

The outlook for Charlotte is bleak:

Kemba would be awesome in Boston. For Charlotte, yikes. If Kemba leaves, they could lose Jeremy Lamb too. That leaves them with? A young core of Miles Bridges, PJ Washington, and Malik Monk? Plus, they would be capped out. That team isn’t winning any games.

Y'all dodged a bullet. Would be about the worst way Dallas could spend money.

I wouldn't say the worst way, but the local guys on The Ticket brought up a good point:

Luka is your franchise, you're offering Porzingod a max, if you're going to give someone else a max contract they need to fit perfectly and Kemba just doesn't quite fit that. Same way I felt with the Horford rumors

Yeah, you can't take the ball out of Luka's hands too much. Would be better off giving Brogdon 20 mil. Elite efficiency. Can act as a playmaker enough. Great off the ball. Can guard multiple positions. I think he'd be the best guard to sign right now for y'all.

Brogdon is the guy a lot of the local media has started to run with. At first it was his Bucks running mate Middleton but I think Bucks let him walk.

Hopefully we can get Brogdon a little under $20 mil or backload it, give us some wiggle room to sign a guy like Bojan as well.

WCS is an option but they already have in-house options in Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell

Brogdon is the only guy I want the Suns to get. His skillset is perfect for most teams. I'm still pissed we didn't get him in return on the Bledsoe trade. That's the only thing I wanted out of it.

a lot of teams are going to be poking around brogdon but idk how many will be willing to tie up cap space for him while they wait for milwaukee to match or not

Well, apparently the Celtics are out. So probably Dallas, Phoenix, LA teams, perhaps.

Charlotte might not be as bad as that Sixers team, but they'll be lucky to win 15 games.

I think if the Mavs realize they aren't nabbing one of those high Tier 1 guys (Kemba, etc.), they would be willing to wait.

I think Dallas would be smart to try to roll their cap space to two summers from now

Its probably best for the Hornets just to bottom out for a few years. They've been living in purgatory too long. The only way they will ever be anything is if they win the lottery.

Yeah, the Beal/Giannis offseason is two summers away, but I think you still need to add guys to make this team a playoff contender and continuously show Luka you're trying to improve the team before his rookie deal comes to a close

Two years from now, the Mavs will also have Courtney Lee and Hardaway Jr. off the books, so there will be money there as well
