I’m confused. What’s funny about that? Sounds good for Boston.

Years of meticulous planning and hoarding assets, only to come out of it with Kemba Walker

just.........no

you can draw comparisons, play style, but Kyrie, in no way shape or form was a leader

what

they are incredibly similar type of players and while kemba isnt the functioning retard that kyrie is, it doesnt change the fact that a whole bunch of people pretty openly talked about how kyries style of play did not mesh with the roster, or stevens

I’d want Kemba over Kyrie. Kyrie is more talented but he’s a selfish weirdo who makes his team worse.

The only thing I would be wary of is the fact that Kemba was forced to be the guy in Charlotte because they have no one else as a scoring option. He had to. I haven't followed Walker's entire career to know if that's how he is as a player or was it an adjustment he made.

Stevens is all about spreading the ball around, Kryie wanted iso's all day long. Is Kemba down with that?

Y'all dodged a bullet. Would be about the worst way Dallas could spend money.

I agree.

I think this was a bigger reason why Kyrie didn't work in Boston.

Kyrie is plenty vocal about being some type of alpha. Players, quickly, became sick of playing with him.

Hornets players loved playing with Kemba. Dude goes about his business.

I think that stuff is a bit overblown. Stevens’ system never seemed to be a hindrance to Isaiah Thomas. Yes they have more guys now, but you need multiple creators/scorers.

The only issue I see is him being 32 and 33 in the last two years of a huge deal, and small point guards don’t always hold up well physically.

(Granted, it’s not like Chris Paul who’s already 34. What a terrible contract that is)

Otherwise it makes a lot of sense given the Celtics options

Can understand the hesitancy, but Kemba Walker has been very good the last three seasons and any questions, likely, were put to rest after watching him in 2018-19. He was dynamite. Helps that he doesn't miss games, either. Walker is a reliable player.
