A source with knowledge of the Rockets’ plans said Danny Green, Jeremy Lamb, Al-Farouq Aminu, DeAndre Jordan, Brook Lopez and Kevon Looney are also possible targets. But Butler, make no mistake, is the dream addition.

CC Targets. This is a great list any of these guys with the MLE would be a great get.

Looney will probably still end up as a backup center and they usually don't make more than 3-5 mil

You know darn well Lopez, Green, and Amino are going to draw more than double the MLE. Lamb will probably and undeservedly get 15 mil per year

Lots of smoke regarding Horford to Pels from National guys.

On one hand, he’s pretty much the perfect player next to Zion and for the team. On the other...large long term contract for a guy that’s 33. It’s risky.

I’m a bit concerned. But it’s a really really good fit otherwise.

Yeah it was weird how Marc Stein kept mentioning the Pels for Horford on the BS podcast

That would be an interesting move

Listening now.

Keep in mind though that Stein stated unequivocally that Horford to the Pels is just "theory" and not anything solid

Now Shams mentioned it and multiple other people.

Seems to be one of those “there could be mutual interest WINK” things.

Horford is literally the perfect fit. 4 years is awhile though for a guy his age.

Bunch if you sign Al, does that mean that you will predict a playoff appearance

I definitely think a 6-8 seed is in play after a horford signing.

Our starting lineup would be nasty and we'd have above average depth.

I think that lineup on paper is pretty damn good, but will probably take a year of playing together to see their full potential. You basically have an entirely new team. Tough to hit the ground running in that situation.

Kawhi is already in 100 fr chek Insta fire. Butler gonna realize he don't wanna play with HardLn and Cliff Paul and sign here for the MLE. Klay Thompson signin for the vet minimum due to his love of Walker Texas Ranger as a kid. Championships bro. Top 2 offense in four of the next 5 years.

Did I cover our two MSB NBA inside sources correctly?

I'm just hoping we finally have a summer where we're the bride for once and not the bridesmaid.

Realistically, I think Kemba is our biggest target. Would definitely take some stress off Luka in the longevity of the season, something that got to him last year. He's not the best of defenders though, something Luka does need to improve upon.

Personally, I would rather go for a Brogdon, Bogdanovic, Cauley-Stein grouping so you're not sending a max out to one guy but spreading it out. Those three would probably be too much, but the money could be found on this team or just any two of those three would be nice as well. The Raptors showed a new blueprint that I think the Mavs need to look into
