Just for fun, 9.9 million is about the population of Michigan.

San Antonio's 2007 four-game sweep of Cleveland (9.29 million) and the Spurs' six-game victory over New Jersey in 2003 (9.83 million) are the other series to average fewer than 10 million since 1997.

Damn. People really hated to watch Tim Duncan

Who was that a-hole who weaseled out of a bet that this would be the lowest rated finals of all time?

He either needs to pay up or be banned.

Bro that stuff was boring as all get out. I was always thankful that I wasn’t a spurs fan because I would have had to pretend that I actually enjoyed watching that.

The numbers were also down 34.5% compared to two years ago, when the Toronto-Golden State series averaged 15.14 million

The gap is actually much bigger, since Toronto is a Canadian city and not tracked by Neilson

They also didn’t count Canada’s ratings this year either. Or any other year, so not sure what your point is here.

Question: Do viewers through YouTube TV count in the Nielsen ratings? Is there any way to count people watching games online?

Really? You think as many Canadians watched this year as they did in 2019? When a Canadian city won the title? You think the NBA isnt trying to attract viewers up North? Like they do in China?

My point STILL is, viewership is way down. Since those numbers dont accurately reflect the loss in interest to the NBA. In or outside the US

He’s saying that the Gap between this year and the Raptors year is even larger than reported
More Canadians were definitely watching the raptors finals than this years finals.
And any other finals

My point still remains. They never count Canada’s ratings so why does it matter?

Hint: They don’t matter.
