Karl Anthony Towns wasn’t fuvking around early, while Brunson & OG got their shite together. Once that happened Spurs was fuvked,

Yeah he seems to take lot of deep shots bc he’s too tired to bang in the paint.
I think his endurance is gonna keep him from being as good as he could be. I know he’s tall but he’s not carrying that much weight so he should be able to play like other guys. If Shaq can play 40 minutes a night in the playoffs at 340 pounds, a Wemby that has the body type of a tall guard should be able to do it

Correct. Far from a finished product. Most aren't at 22, even the basketball prodigies. Still needs a few signature moves against different defensive looks.

There has only been one team in NBA history to win a title as you.g as they are and that was 1977. And there's multiple reasons for that: Endurance, team makeup, understanding the game, etc. MJ, Lebron, Curry, etc. all took years after getting drafted before winning their first title. The only one that didn't was Duncan really and he had 3 years in college to polish up.
Spurs were expected to be anywhere from a 6 seed to a play in team based in preseason expectations. They really weren't supposed to be playing in the Finals. Even after the December games against OKC, no expected them in the Finals now. Not with 3 players under 23 playing significant minutes. Only Barnes and Olynk has ever been in a Finals before and neither play significant minutes.
Team obviously doesn't believe this as they've been saying at all preseason, but there's a reason why its only happened once.
If the Spurs lose game 2 the series is over. The season has been great for getting experience and next year should be ready for prime time after more corrections to the roster ( ie getting a true Power Forward either in the draft or in free agency).
Shout-out to the Knicks they came in and smoked us at home.

It's one game, so I think people are making way too much out of it.
Knicks are well rested, and have had time to get over the rush of getting to the finals. They are also a more seasoned playoff team. No surprise that they were a little more focused this game.
Counter that with the Spurs who went through two tougher series including going to game 7 on the road, upsetting the reigning champions on their home floor and having to turn around after all of that emotion and then flipping the switch back. Their youth and lack of being there before came through and so anyone shocked by the Knicks winning this game are way overblowing it.
Hell, Philly beat that 2002 Lakers team in game 1 of OT only to get smashed the next 4 games.
It's one game and a great win for the Knicks. Knicks had to win this game to show they had a shot (which they do). Had they lost this game with everything in their favor like it was, then it was likely over.
Now the question will be if the Spurs are mature enough to refocus and get back on track.

My Game 1 overreaction and overjustification for betting NYK to win the Finals --
OKC was Spurs' championship. I would've been stunned if the Spurs won Game 1 after how much physical and mental energy they had to exert to get past OKC. Comparatively, NYK is much more rested. The 3 biggest takeaways I had from last night's game were:
1) KAT/Robinson played much stronger physically and defensively than Holmgren and it seemed to work well in fatiguing Wemby
2) Josh Hart's rebounding played huge. Eliminating second possessions that Castle/Champagnie/Harper are so good at coming up with on the offensive glass
3) Harper sitting the final minutes in 4Q seemed crazy in the moment and in hindsight. I'm sure SAS will adjust that immediately move forward
