It's their league so they can do as they please, but if all they are is a league subsidized by the NBA, then why waste more money on it?

It isn't "butthurt" to point out a waste of money.

What would happen if the WNBA champions played a boys high school state title team?

I’d place the betting line at Boys -20.

For the first quarter.

They could make the WNBA a lingerie basketball league. Granted that would require drafting much prettier players.

I’m pretty sure the lingerie football league actually makes a profit. Otherwise, it wouldn’t exist. Since no men’s sports league subsidizes it.

Lower the goals. Let them play on 8.5 goals. Women’s soccer, tennis and softball are somewhat entertaining. There’s no reason the WNBA can’t make their product more exciting. Most Men’s HS teams are more fun to watch than the WNBA.

And yes you get leave for an adoption

Wyoming or Alaska. Since those are the 2 least populated states, and presumably have the least HS talent.

If they were playing the Indiana state champions, I’d make the boys 28 point favorites in the first quarter.

Good. Now they can afford testosterone shots to make the product entertaining finally.

I think the 1975 NBA champions, at their current ages, would beat the 2020 WNBA champions.

It’s hilarious how butthurt this place is over this.

Not even a top headline on ESPN and this place is melting.

Alaska is apeshite over basketball. I'm sure the H.S. talent could field some teams comparable other States not named Florida, California and New York.

Trajon Langdon and Carlos Boozer are from Alaska.

N and S Dakota, Hawaii, and Alaska have produced the least amount of top basketball recruits in the past 5 years. New Mexico is next.

Alaska is a weird state when it comes to basketball. Hes right, it's a big deal up there. But they almost are entirely overlooked due to the fact that, iirc, they don't allow AAU up there and they dont allow camps. You have to be good to be noticed by anyone

Some billionaires are throwing a pittance of money to these players and everyone wants to make sure that it is recognized that it’s a waste. This money doesn’t mean anything to the owners and it buys them PR. Seems like a fine deal for everyone.

People act like the league is a big drain. Loses about 10 mill a year.
