Pretty cool. Milwaukee is going to coast to the worst record in the league it looks like. Makes Toronto's season look even more impressive too.

Look at Portland

I am happy that while the Grizzlies difficulty is going down, the teams they are competing with for the last couple of spots in the playoffs seem to be going up.

Always thought they were frauds as contenders, but fun to watch. Looking at that it wouldn't surprise me if they end up not finishing in the top 4 of the west.

what's most interesting to me is toronto. dudes have been balling lately with a tough schedule. now they go down to one of the easiest. they will definitely be the 3 seed.

In Memphis we like to call that the "we just traded away Rudy Gay" effect.

Just adding up win% isn't a good way to determine how difficult a schedule is.

Days of rest, travel schedule, etc. matter also. But this chart doesn't take those things into account.

Also because good teams arbitrarily are going to have a worse schedule because they are reducing their opponents win% by virtue of winning. It's a cool graph, but needs to be taken with a lot of context.

Portland has had a more laid back schedule but we beat all our tough opponents. We lost early to HOU and a HEALTHY Suns team. We just ran the Macs off their court even (this chart is fairly old now.) Not like our wins are just against lesser teams.

So Miami has played the easiest schedule in basketball so far?

Hmmm...

ETA: And Portland's remaining schedule =

Miami also has by far the best winning percentage vs teams over. 500, which also plays to my point I was making in that other thread.

And also, a more general statement, if we haven't learned by now that how Miami performs in the regular season is irrelevant, I'm not sure how else to make someone realize that.
