has anyone ever legitimately won a dunk contest?

Feller that won in '84 with the first two ball. Vance, maybe?

and every Tim knows the NBA is rigged.

i'll give this #1 and demar's first dunk #2. then demar's 2nd dunk #3

Demar's second dunk was ridiculous, especially because he did it flawlessly on the first time

blake didn't deserve the finals, but the car dunk was fun as hell. when baron popped his head out of the sun roof i started dying laughing.

great delivery, a lot of drama, and he made sure to make the catch and dunk it home.
was it difficult? no.
could others have done it as well or better? yes.
but was it entertaining?

fricking right it was.

to me derozan was clearly the best dunker of the night.

how does griffin get a 46 for a windmill off the side of the backboard, and demar gets a 44 for an east bay off the brace behind the backboard?

Ibaka and McGee had the two most difficult dunks of the night but lacked flash on all their dunks.

Griffin on the other hand was mostly flash, very little substance/level of difficulty in the actual dunks.

Derozan had the best combination of both.

I love how the players and celebs go ape shite over lame arse dunks. Griffin jumping over the car was not impressive. If he would made his first 360 dunk attempt that would have been awesome.

The most under rated dunk imo is when JR Smith did the behind the back dunk. If someone could do that with a 360 my jaw would drop. All the other dunks are the same and boring. Omg he did another Vince Carter dunk!!!111 crowd goes crazy.

baka is the first person to ever do the free throw line dunk legitimately in the history of the contest.

Ibaka is a better dunker than the following, all who could not pull off the free throw dunk:

Dr J
Jordan
Barry

Yet all those guys won the contest, right?

Don't question greatness.

i thought it was a good final. I wanted to see Griffin dunk, no Ibaka. Ibaka's dunks sucked. the teddy bear thing was retarded.

mcgee had some creative shite. He knew he had to come up with something because he was so tall. but he should have had something ready for the final. That was disappointing

Derozan was alright, i wouldnt have minded seeing him in the finals.

the car dunk was a cool idea, but jumping over the hood was kind of a cop out. anyone that has ever been in the dunk contest could probably do that. the pageantry was nice and it was easily better than mcgees dunk. so i dont mind griffin winning. he is what everyone wanted to see.

2nd hardest dunk of the night IMO behind McGee's 2 ball dunk. It looked better than McGee's dunk though IMO, should have been at least a 48-49. The degree of difficulty to hold onto that ball the entire way w/o using the other hand is ridiculous
